Healthy Adolescent and Young People (HAY!) in Uganda
HAY! aims to scale-up and build readiness for comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programming for adolescent and young people (AY; 10-24 years) in Uganda at health district, health facility, and community level fully in Bushenyi and Rubirizi Districts, and partially in Ntungamo District. The project is implemented by Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and University of Calgary (UCalgary) together with Districts.
Improved delivery of gender-responsive and adolescent-friendly (G&A) sexuality education and SRH services
Increased utilization of G&A sexuality education and SRH services
Increased national recognition of a G&A, SRHR-focused MamaToto package as a best practice
Improved comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) with a focus on women and adolescent girls.
