Healthy Child Uganda is supported through the University Partnerships in Cooperation and Development (UPCD) program which is administered by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).  This CIDA program funds knowledge partnerships Canadian Universities and higher education organizations in developing countries.

The Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Club and the Wild Rose Foundation has supported Healthy Child Uganda since its inception by funding Canadian Physicians to travel to Mbarara, Uganda to provide training and support to the project.
