An exciting new program has seen development of a “Simulation Centre of Excellence” at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, which is providing training to teams of doctors, nurses, and midwives in obstetrical and paediatric emergency care. An adult education approach called ‘Simulation Training’ uses buy phentermine mannequins and coaching during simulated emergency scenarios (such as those which could occur at the time of birth) to provide skills-practice and team-building opportunities for health providers and students in Southwest Uganda.
