Healthy Child Uganda has hundreds of volunteers who donate their time for the benefit of Uganda's children.  They include Faculty and staff of the department of Community Health, Paediatrics, The Deans Office and Development Studies from MUST, Faculty and Staff from University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and International Centre and Faculty and Staff from Dalhousie and other institutes of higher learning in Canada. In addition, there are numerous dedicated Canadian Doctors, staff of the Canadian Paediatric Society and independent volunteers from all parts of Canada and Uganda.  HCU has over 350 Community Owned Resource Persons in Uganda who devote their time and energy to the project with no remuneration.  Also in Uganda health care workers, health centre trainers, students, local government and Ministry of Health officials as well as District Health Services staff work hard every day assisting the Healthy Child Uganda project.
